Five Senses Friday

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of daily life we often forget to observe the world around us.. we tend to complain and crib about the smallest things and forget to look at the magic that surrounds us. This is a tribute to the wonder that resides in the most unlikely places.. the wonder that reminds us that it is a marvellous world after all.

SIGHT

The sun in the glory of it's varied forms... sunset, dawn, twilight...you can see all sorts of colours merging into one another. its beautiful!

SOUND

The song "Mora Piya" has been running through my head the whole day long. It's invigorating and definately worth a listen!

TOUCH

A dog snuggled up next to you is one of the best feelings in the world. And luckily for me, i have a dog who loves being cuddled... :)

TASTE

I made some cherry ice cubes! They're perfect for the summer or just to put in a cold glass of nimbu pani!

SMELL

Can anything beat the smell of the first rain simmering as it falls upon the baked earth?
