I was editing a few photos and  I came up with this...Its a mix of the two images I had uploaded on the this and that post earlier. It makes for a really pretty desktop background so I thought I would share it with you.

September Surprise!

Hello all! I have a surprise in store for you! September in Mumbai is even more beautiful than August . ( I'm not entirely sure how that is even possible considering August is a pretty fabulous month here.. what with all the glistening raindrops, clean roads and beautiful sunsets that look different every two minutes )
Anyways.. the last two weeks have been filling me with inspiration.. i started a colour journal ( I will definitely share the details of that at the month end) and managed to think of three really cool diy projects.

Luckily for you... one of them also acts as present for you!
Presenting the September calender.
The background in an ink painting that i did with the colours that seem to be filling up September!

All you need to do is click on the image above..a larger version will open in a new window save it and print it it out on an A 4 sheet.

Alternatively, you can just right click on the above image and save it but then you might not get the full sized calender!

It would be a handy to stick inside a notebook or board.. it"ll add some colour and maybe you can cross of the days on it if you have something special coming up!

It was my brother-in-law's birthday day before yesterday and my cousin and I quickly wrapped up some of his gifts.. i quite liked how one of them turned out so i thought i would share a bit of the craziness with you!

P.S. : On another important note we tried to make a baked cheesecake and it turned out to be delicious!

The past weekend inspiration struck and i was happily immersed in the world of creating a little something for my self! I'm quite happy with how it finally turned out.

It's been pouring non stop for the last two days! I was craving some sun shine so i decided to create some :)

I've been making things for a while now and have always dreamt of having a mini exhibition and selling them.. however that might take a little more time!And since my friends and family have been encouraging me to share and sell the things i make instead of them just lying around... i thought i would put some photos up and see if any of you are interested in buying them!

it rained!!! finally :) there's no better way to start a morning than to look out of your window and see the raindrops trickling down! :)

well since its Monday and since it seems like the week ahead is going to be a long one here are a few of the things im currently crushing on! i hope they make you happy too!

1. Music Philosophy

It combines two of my favourite things... amazing song lyrics and awe inspiring typography.. and makes them look like they were meant for each other! Forget fancy art.. i'll rather have one of these on my walls any day!

2. My cousin Arshi's desserts. Trust me when i say they are the BEST. THING .EVER.

Until you have tried her Chocolate Swamp cake consider your life incomplete.

And she has the sweetest name for her delicacies.. She sells under "Cravings". So apt.
