Studies in Composition
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend :)
Over the weekend i took a little trip to a construction site... now not many people would think of construction sites as cool places to be in..and most of the time i would agree with them. However this particular site was filled with hope and the promise of transformation. And as I had taken along my camera I captured a little of the magic to show you!
The photos below are an effort at studying the different ways in which one can compose a photo.I hope you find it as interesting as i did !

Photo of the Day
Wednesday's seem to own the magical gift of slowing down time. Right around every Wednesday the week slows down and the day seems to move sluggishly no matter how hard you try..
Streetlights with one bulb missing... Beauty in discordancy :)
Well today I decided to take matters into my own hands and reclaim my Wednesday. I went on a search for a few inspiring things to brighten up my day and this is what i found..
A man sqeezing himself amongst cartons in the back of a truck and holding on for dear life.
Also.. Policemen often stop fancy cars for not wearing seat belts... Wonder what they have to say about this ?
This carasol makes a pretty picture along the beach :)
I love this picture.. it has the gossiping girls, the lively guys playing football and a pensive baby watching both :)
Who knew spilt water would make such a powerful photo?
Boats painted in bright colours...
Streetlights with one bulb missing... Beauty in discordancy :)
Blue , white and beige :)
And the colours and taste of the India captured in three bright bottles...
I hope this spreads a bit of mid week cheer :) Have a good week :)

Photo of the Day
An Umbrella hung on a door. I love the contrast of the folds and shadows that the umbreall spokes make with the brash colour of the solid flat door.

The Inscrutable Mr. Buddy
My dog would be a great spy.
He pretends like he's fast asleep on your favourite pillow...
When in actuality he's carefully watching each move you re making .
On the rare chance i catch him, he goes back to tightly shutting his eyes and pretending to be sound asleep ! :)

Photo of the Day
This phtoto just calls out to me. I snapped it on my way home today. Everything in it is so ordinary and yet together they come together to form something more.
I hope i can do that someday.. find something that makes me more than what i am today :)

Also.. this photo makes me wonder... it the absolutely crazy rush of everyday life we miss out on the little things that make each day so beautiful... it can be a story thats shared, a friend whose just come back, a smile from a stranger... anything reallly.
Hope you had a great day :)
